Business orientated... people are bottom of priorities.

Pros

The people who work for Boparan at shop floor level and in OPs are all amazing and tirelessly do everything they can to improve the brands. They are passionate and really want it to work!

Cons

Finances are a huge problem. Higher up seem to focus on the 'new projects' and less on the already established, struggling brands. Ultimately all they are really bothered about is money... absolutely NOT a 'people' business. Disorganised. Anything needed with monetary value attached takes months to get approved...

Toxic workplace full of toxic people

Pros

Staff discount, though be prepared to be told you can’t use your staff discount

Cons

Toxic atmosphere. No one cares about your well being. Appraisals and pay rises don’t exist - in the words of their own management. Constant lies and absolutely no communication. Told you’re paid too much. Don’t care about the brands, and don’t care about people. Don’t declare allergens on the menu?? If I could give less than one star I absolutely would.

Pros

- Employee helpline - Discount Scheme for employees

Cons

No transparency, fabricating numbers and facts to appear good for the potential investors. HR team is biased. Favoritism amongst the upper management (paying overtime only to certain colleagues/friends) Lack of professionalism and care for employees. Hard working, skilled professionals are being replaced with unqualified new recruits without any training in place or non compliant managers. High turnover in all departments. Restaurants are heavily focused on labour. No drive to grow sales, team retention or improving quality of work for the customers and employees.
