Pros

Salary based vs fee for service

Cons

Clinicians are treated like cattle. Absolutely no work-life balance or concern for clinician well being. If there is a no-show, you are expected to fill all those no-shows last minute. Benefits are awful, only available to people working 40 hr/week. Providers are expected to do back to back sessions with essentially no break. Supervision is low quality and only provided in groups. Not any learning opportunities.

Pros

Working from home, you can save gas... but its going to come with micromanagement by the admin's, the main clinical director is extemely abusive.

Cons

During one of our team meetings, there was a client that expereinced racial profilling by a patient... so she ended up saying "the client knew you were asian before" basically diminishing the provider's experience.... extreme gaslighting.. instead of publically saying sorry that happened, she mad excuses for the patient who made the abusive client. Then she said this fake thing like" we don't accept that" which is obviously going to keep an employee in cognitive dissonace state. the clinical director is a classic naricicst.

Pros

Work from home, no in-office meetings required, all online

Cons

Poor pay structure and small raises. Poor patient-seen bonus structure. They recently lowered the amount, despite increasing the caseload... It is now 0.50 cents per case seen. Per day, you are required to see f/u patients every 15 minutes. This leaves little to no time to chart between calls Pay is lower than the national average for PAs. Pay does not reflect work load Provider turnover rate is high...Many leave, they just find un-experienced new grads.
