Pros

Work life balance is amazing, as is often the case in higher ed. The higher ups in my college did tend to care about their staff and try to act on consistent feedback. Health insurance was good, premium a little bit high but good coverage.

Cons

Cost of living adjustments stopped the past two years and that was very unfortunate. Prompted me to leave because simply my annual rent increase far surpassed any cost of living adjustments I had ever actually received, let alone didn’t receive. Hard to get promoted - people stick around for a while (due to the pros!)
