Pros

Interacting with the CUSTOMERS, and that is about it. This place is the worst.

Cons

No training, yet management and "assistances" act annoyed when you need help/ask a question. You're barely given any hours a week, and the pay is terrible. Only offered a ten-minute break WHICH YOU NEED TO CLOCK OUT FOR. The management plays favorites with certain associates, and it is obvious when some people are reprimanded for things that others (including management) do. They have poor customer service, no focus on it whatsoever . They also treat their employees (who aren't lucky enough to be a FAVORITE) poorly. Employees are reprimanded on the floor in front of co-workers and customers, this creates a situation that makes everyone uncomfortable. Management and employees curse and fool around on the floor and in front of customers. Out of date and difficult to use registers. Very unorganized.

Pros

managers were extremely fair to employees.. although was well liked and one of the star employees, they definitely grilled me when needed which i appreciated... and they always maintained a Boss to employee relationship not a friend to friend. Although they were friendly, and outside work sure, have fun, but while at work, it was all business... Really glad i worked for them, even if only for a few months.. great environment to be in, and when i worked multiple jobs, they maneuvered their scheduling to fit mine and also give me solid hours.. They also offered extra work to those who needed a little extra money and that was really sweet of them. i wish i didn't have to leave them so soon, but duty called.

Cons

truthfully, the customers were the most annoying part of work life there.... whats the point of coming to a DISCOUNT store, asking for further discounts? ... not many cons actually. Some corporate folk were quite unpleasant but i just avoided them when i could.
