Bottom Dollar Food

Is this your company?

This is the worst, most unprofessional place I have ever worked. - Anonymous employee Bottom Dollar Food Employee Review

Pros

Interacting with the CUSTOMERS, and that is about it. This place is the worst.

Cons

No training, yet management and "assistances" act annoyed when you need help/ask a question. You're barely given any hours a week, and the pay is terrible. Only offered a ten-minute break WHICH YOU NEED TO CLOCK OUT FOR. The management plays favorites with certain associates, and it is obvious when some people are reprimanded for things that others (including management) do. They have poor customer service, no focus on it whatsoever . They also treat their employees (who aren't lucky enough to be a FAVORITE) poorly. Employees are reprimanded on the floor in front of co-workers and customers, this creates a situation that makes everyone uncomfortable. Management and employees curse and fool around on the floor and in front of customers. Out of date and difficult to use registers. Very unorganized.

Pros

I have been with my store since day one. There is ample opportunity to grow in the company. If you stick it out and prove yourself, you WILL move up in the chain. I've seen it happen, and its currently happening to me (slowly but surely). Some of the managers that I have been with really care about you and they push you to do better because they know when you're capable of it.

Cons

Management team is inconsistent. We have been through so many managers within a two year period and its ridiculous. Sometimes I feel that I am not appreciated. Although I am told that I am a big asset to the store and I am thanked for my work, I sometimes feel that I am under appreciated. I am also under paid. I know this for a FACT. But I don't complain because I love working there and I want to grow with the company.
