Pros

If you are morally bankrupt you may do well here.

Cons

Management - CEO and MD are married, something they don't mention during interviews. They constantly bicker in the office. They are extremely unethical. The "training period" consists of calling people up and lying to them to generate leads. They regularly take candidates from their clients. They change their associates LinkedIn to make it look like they've all been there long term. Essentially they never tell the truth about anything. They don't actually teach you how to resource (I went to an ethical company after leaving and only there was given a real role to work on and was actually taught how to conduct a boolean search. Really basic stuff). The culture wasn't my bag but to be fair that is subjective.

Bramwith Consulting Response

From a professional and a personal view we are shocked and saddened to receive such a scathing review. At Bramwith we continuously strive to support the success of our consultants as well as support them on a personal level, as is evidenced in the many positive reviews we have received. We are honestly not aware of any previous employee having felt this way during their time with us, we are proud that we are seen as a supportive company and many of our consultants, past and current will stand testament to this. We would hope that if an employee were ever unhappy or struggling in any area of their role they would make us aware so we may have the opportunity to address any potential issues. We provide every consultant with formal internal training as well as providing a detailed, in depth training manual to all consultants, whilst also encouraging on the job learning too, as speaking to clients and candidates is a great way to understand the people and industry. We also provide external training to the consultants that would like it, such as language courses, attending the National Sales Academy in Coventry, management training and stress management courses. If any consultant feels they need additional internal support and training we encourage them to make this known and happily provide any extra one to one assistance and coaching that they may need, our consultants success is our success. We are extremely proud of the relationships we have with clients, candidates and employees past and present. These relationships are based on trust and as an ethical company we work hard to provide a service to our clients and candidates that sees us in business for many years to come. This most certainly couldn't happen if we worked unethically. In a niche industry, where people are of the upmost importance to us, behaving in any way unethically would be a naive business move and one which Bramwith Consulting would not consider.

Pros

Nothing, this was the worst job I've ever had.

Cons

Terrible management. They don't care about you as a person, just want numbers. They are ruthless and selfish. Terrible work environment. They force you to write positive reviews in front of them, don't fall for it!

Pros

They actually onboard you very well and teach you a lot about Procurement; how to get a great understanding about what your candidates are looking for, and when it comes to it, find out what your hiring managers are looking for in a candidate. It cannot be said that they don't put a lot of effort into you. Kin is hands down one of the nicest guys I've met.

Cons

1) They make you write a 5* review on here on day 1 or 2 just after your buzz of joining has started (even though they do say you can write a crap one after you leave) 2) The CEO thinks she's Sir Alex Ferguson trying to get the best out of each person in her own unique way which definitely doesn't work if you see how many have left or been let go. We were threatened to go door knocking on hiring manager's doors if we didn't book enough business development meetings for a few months. 3) I've left recently and half the people that are shown on their LinkedIn profile as employees, definitely don't exist 4) Even though they do put a lot of effort into you, they're very quick to let you go if you make an error with a client rather than try and let you fix it. 5) CEO makes false promises or promises she knows she cannot keep. The amount of times we were meant to have training and it kept being pushed back again and again. Not sure if this is "assertiveness training" or what waiting for us to say something about it... but if it's not going to happen, just let us know. 6) It takes at least 2 months for your promotion to be reflected in your payslip. You get a bottle of something bubbly and a letter saying you'll get it in next month's payslip. The only problem is that you could reach your target in month A, they give you the promotion letter at the beginning of month B saying you'll get your rise at the end of the NEXT month's payslip i.e. Month C 7) I'm not sure if this is just me, but I was made to feel very guilty leaving on time, even if I'd managed to get my stuff done by 6pm and was ready to leave.
