Pros

Work on creative and interesting projects. CD has lots of great ideas. You will hone your skillsets. You get the freedom to propose new idea and try new things.

Cons

If this is your first job, this might not be the right place for you. You’ll be expected to perform at a certain level, and there will be days when you’ll need to OT. At times, management may not have a clear direction, which can lead to confusion on projects.

Boss plays favoritism

Pros

Very creative CD. Innovative and ahead of their time in terms of tech and communication. Can’t think of any more good things to say.

Cons

Toxic environment. Colleagues in cliques who makes non-pioneer staff feel ostracized. Boss playing favoritism, ostracizing non-favourable employees making them feel small and invisible. Impossible deadlines, incessant no. Of meetings and regroups (are results of micromanagement). Meetings are often meaningless. Bosses ignores non-favourable staff, doesn’t listen to contributions and insists on their ways, not receptive to questioning and suggestions. Talks over staff who’s presenting in meetings with frivolous small talks with another person in the room like “hey look at my cat!” Plain rude and disrespectful and unprofessional even for a boss. High turnover rate which is not difficult to understand why.
