Pros

Most of the staff here are kind and talented - overall a real pleasure to work with. It ends there.

Cons

First off - the other reviews are correct. The boss is completely two-faced and has no idea how to run a company. She will scream at you for things that are not even remotely in your control, talk bad about you any chance she gets, but then turn around and act completely nice to you. You also do need to use a clock in system, which just goes to show the level of trust she has in the people she employs. The pay here is extremely low, and not a single person in the higher level of the company has any idea what they're doing. There is no HR, and no one to go to with complaints. The boss is not above lying and cheating her employees (or anyone else) any which way she can. Granted, she can also be somewhat generous, but you never know when the switch will flip. You cannot trust her one bit. If you're desperate for a line on your resume, proceed with a high level of caution. Everyone else, run away as fast as you can.

Pros

That's a shorthand way to describe he boss, Donna. Absent, Vicious, Opinionated, Intolerant, Derogatory.

Cons

The owner Donna will interview you and then as soon as you leave will make fun of you with everyone who wants to join in. I've never seen anyone show less respect to other people and then turn around and preach "teamwork" & "we must choose to be amazing." She is a two faced egomaniac who can't get out of her own way. She doesn't trust her employees. Salaried employees who work 85+ hours a week are expected to punch in/out using an online clock system like high school kids working at McDonalds. This is not a fun workplace. People are unhappy working here. Plain and simple. Do not bring this place upon yourself. It's not worth the outrageously low pay, getting screamed at, or stress.

You Can Do Better

Pros

The only positive thing I can say of my time at Brawn is there are a lot of talented people on the team; unfortunately most of their brilliance gets snuffed out by micromanagement and unrealistic/unclear expectations. If you are newly starting out your career this may be a foot into the industry, but be prepared to be used to your entirety while you are there, and don't expect any niceties on your way out. Do yourself a favor and consider other options, or make your stay a brief one.

Cons

This was a disappointing experience in many ways, and one of the most toxic environments I have ever worked in. There is an utter lack of communication and respect from management, yet you were always on thin ice. The owner is extremely manipulative. She will have you believe you were hired for your expertise, but in reality she has no interest in being told how to improve practices within her company. She turns her team members against each other, and I have witnessed her lie about multiple people throughout my time there. Beyond that, the pay is not competitive, and you do indeed need to clock in and out (including breaks) even if you are salaried. You get very little time off (only a week for most employees) which you will be afraid to use. You accrue throughout the year, and then immediately lose what you haven't used at the end of the year.
