Culture of Bullying

Pros

Nice product. Decent training. Sales approach is relaxed and fun in store.

Cons

Director is a bully, will single out and scream at individual sales staff. Head office has its favourites, and will ignore any complaints about unfair treatment. They are trying to readjust their brand image as less sexist by hiring more women - however women are treated as secondary.

Good base salary but poor incentives and management

Pros

Base salary was good at the start, Boutique atmosphere was lovely

Cons

Commission and incentives were horrible. No bonus although the country preformed well and we know other countries got them. No salary increase for 2 years for all boutique staff with no explanation. Lars the MD of Oceania is extremely aggressive towards staff. No career progression

Pros

Strong brand recognition and loyal client base. Great exposure to luxury retail, watches, and high-volume sales. Opportunity to build strong client relationships and develop product knowledge.

Cons

Leadership and communication could be inconsistent at times. Heavy micromanagement created unnecessary pressure on staff morale and store culture which leads to high staff turnover. Work-life balance and recognition for performance could be improved.
