Pros

The atmosphere in the golf dept. can be pretty laid back for the most part, and the labor isn't too strenuous or unmanageable. There is some nice scenery on the golf course as well. It is also fairly easy to snag a golf cart and "escape" for a minute.

Cons

The higher-ups in the golf dept. only think about the profit over people, at the expense of the lower employees. When members are vulgar, they are allowed to be because they have the money bags. Not to mention a very high school minded group of individuals where gossip is rampant, and temper tantrums are superfluous.

Pros

Great benefits, free employee meals and snacks all day, great pay

Cons

Environment is very toxic and relies heavily on favoritism. Managers pick on you. There is no accountability, and complaining is useless. They have an anti-retaliation policy that is simply a piece of paper that we sign. If you complain about how you’re treated, your job responsibilities change or your hours or both. They spend countless hours of training and lectures about rules only to break them and make us look us bad. Members always get whatever they want. On top of the long hours and endless amounts of side work, the mental stress is neither worth the pay nor benefits.
