Lower level/front line employees really work hard to serve clients and to help each other.

Everyone is always reminded that this could be their last day. Director has no sense of Broward community--never participates in events or meetings, especially in communities with people of color. Open door policy? Her door is only open to the people that cater to her. Staff must drive her everywhere. First Deputy Director- has no clue Second Deputy Director really runs the place -- it’s his world and staff is there to serve him, by his rules (forget State rules) and he rules with threats. Employees are taught to cover up So much paperwork/reports who has time to serve the public? What the hell is Active Strategy System? Public Health in Broward is dead.
