Pros

Relatively flexible hours, additional portfolio pieces, new work space

Cons

Salary is very low, no health insurance offered (although they'll tell you they're working on it), expressing your grievances to upper management is discouraged, no remote work is permitted, very small amount of PTO (and can't take time off during the holidays), promotions are based on tenure (not talent), high amounts of burnout in young professionals, salary and hourly employees are treated like different species.

All employees agree to and are aware of what their salary is when they are hired. Employees are given 40 hours of vacation, 24 hours of paid personal time and 24 hours of unpaid time for their first year. This changes to 80 hours of vacation after one year along with paid and unpaid time remaining the same (24 hours each). Promotions are not based on tenure. They are based on performance only. I've been with the company nearly 6 years and have never seen anyone treated like a "different species". The company has several fun activities throughout the year that ALL employees are welcome to participate in ranging from cookouts to Colts tickets with VIP tailgating included. I'm sorry that it didn't work out for this employee but sometimes it just ends up not being a good fit. I wish him well in the future.

Pros

• Good experience • Differing duties • Exposure to different facets of business and genre of brands • Good discount on product

Cons

• Resistant to change • Documenting each hour of work • Low pay • Not a lot of room to grow • Boring mundane work trumps creativity • Micro managing • High turn-over • Poor business practice / ethics • Not trusting During my experience, I presented multiple different changes that would benefit productivity to management, non of which were taken seriously. Management wants someone to blame when something goes wrong, but when it goes right, they take credit. In addition, there was an employee 'reporting' on the department. This is not a job for someone who is innovative / forward thinking. This is a job for a 'yes' person.
