Pros

I've been at Budderfly for almost a year now and I've had nothing but a positive experience. Being a startup, it gives you a chance to write your own story and grow and actually make something for yourself. It gives you the chance the prove yourself and become self sufficient. Management is always around to assist should you have any questions but overall the company makes it very easy for you to solve issues on your own and prove yourself in your role. Overall the company vibe is very relaxed and creates a sense of friendship with your coworkers. There's dogs running around the office, workplace is causal attire, snacks are provided, and at the end of every month there's a company sponsored happy hour. Because it's so small you really do get a great sense of comradery, after all, you spend more time with the people you work with than your family sometimes. Management is very transparent and will shoot it straight with you. After being here for almost a year, I have no problem asking my supervisor for progress, improvements, and what's next for my role. It creates a sense of wanting to do more than just your 40 a week and cashing it in. With a startup and being new and growing there's always room to take the initiative on something. "Better to ask for forgiveness than permission" is big here and it's true.

Cons

There's no "cons" but one thing to keep in mind is that is a startup. Processes are changing sometimes daily, some days can be hectic and stressful, and there are very little procedures in place. If you're someone who's quick to adapt to this environment like I was then you should have no trouble. But if you're looking for something a little more "structured" for lack of a better term, you may have a bit of trouble. Again, this isn't so much a "con" it's more about the type of worker and personality you have and it's helpful to know. But there's always work to do and coworkers are always friendly and helpful to assist.
