Pros
Exciting to work in an environment where everyone can be an entrepreneur. The company is small but has so many big clients it is on the cusp of growing exponentially. Accordingly, the small number of employees get to have a say in how that might occur. Hector Gomez, the CEO, is the man. He's an incredibly smart guy who pioneered the industry of online emergency preparedness software and who is always open to ideas. Management frequently asks employees for feedback about the company, and in doing so everyone's voice is heard. The CEO is always up for hearing our ideas, and will actually implement them if they are good. It gives everyone a sense of power. The other employees are all very nice and easy to talk to. If you excel at your position for a couple of years, stock options will be discussed. Ideal for those who want to be big fish in small ponds, especially if they want to help make that pond into an ocean.
Cons
The decor in the office isn't great. Sometimes it has the feel of being in a hospital. The bare minimum number of days are offered as holidays (i.e. Christmas, labor day), and there is no paid time off. That however is expected to change in the coming years.
