Pros

1-You'll learn a lot if this is your first Job, the culture around the developers is really healthy so you will always find help if you need it 2- Remote work 3- "unlimited" days holidays (it's not completely unlimited but the most important thing is that you can use more days of holidays than what the law says in you country so I really consider this a top tier benefit)

Cons

1- At first you'll be working pretty chill but after some time they will overwhelm you with a bunch of tickets to do and new responsibilities, so you'll feel burnt out more sooner than later. 2- The culture around all the company feels like a cult. The positivity is way to forced so it all just feels fake and cringy 3- Some seniors managers are never available so you really can't rely on them. 4- You'll probably experience a meetings galore 5-Wages are not competitive. It's not the worst obviously but you can find better wages in other companies. Also trying to negotiate an increase of salary is way hard, so hard that it feels that they are just cheap 6- The others benefits are not that good 7- The performance evaluation is not fair, it really depends on how friendly or how close you are to your boss

Poco crecimiento A tiempos demasiaaado burocrático, poco ágil Management muy inmaduro Cambios recurrentes y poca restrospectiva de estos por parte de líderes y stakeholders Pesima construcción del plan de carrera para ingenieros de software Demasiado tramite para aumentar el salario o ascender, se demoran demasiado y aplazan. Incluso a veces dan fechas para el aumento o ascenso y no lo cumplen o cumplen parte del porcentaje prometido excusandose. A pesar de haber un plan de carrera escrito, este no esta claro 100% y a veces se siente como que management quiere que el ingeniero adivine cual es su rol o lo que tiene que hacer para seguir avanzando en su carrera, casi que al equivocarse le mencionan al ingeniero que es lo que se esperaba realmente Poca retención del talento debido a estas últimas razones FrontEnd arcaico: CSS y jquery, con suerte hay bootstrap En el desempeño se toma en cuenta la cantidad promedio de PRs/MRs realizados mensualmente, sin tomar en consideración revisión de PRs/MRs o PRs/MRs hechos para resolución de tickets de servicio al cliente No existe QA, hay muy pocos QA dentro de la empresa, por lo que el testing muchas veces se debe diseñar por parte del ingeniero. La relación exigencia vs remuneración, recompensa y beneficios esta desequilibrada, considerando los problemas que se presentan al momento de pedir aumentos o ascensos y la cantidad de responsabilidades que tiene el ingeniero dentro de esta empresa

You work with a big application that is in constant change The squads are sized accordingly Communication between collaborations is good

Cons

Bad management practices Business people doesn't take into account the engineering department's needs Lack of communication inter-squads Some people get promotions without earning it and others get stuck (and they did enough to earn a promotion)
