Pros

Some good people if you can find them.

Cons

When recruitment agencies won't work with a business, it's always a red flag... When i mentioned to a recruiter I had a role lined up here and so I was rejecting the other role I had applied for, they wished me good luck and said they'd keep my details on file because "I know what they are like". Outdated systems, poor facilities, working hours are daft and not flexible at all. During Covid we had to take the PC home to work on..says it all. Regularly saw colleagues walking out and not seeing them again, suddenly let go and no one would mention anything about it or them. Must be spending a fortune on paying off staff so they don't take them to court. Mental and physical health issues or concerns about staff member behaviour regularly covered up, even discussed without your permission. Paternity leave and maternity leave very basic, miles behind other organisations in this day and age. Long serving staff seem to be sucked up to instead of gracefully moved on or upskilled, very touchy feely with some staff..no names to be named but it makes for an uncomfortable office atmosphere. I heard someone calling a new starter at the Xmas do (who happened to be black)"I bet he's a good dancer, they always are." People seemed to be generally unhappy but never took any action to better themselves or move onto one of their more successful and modern rivals with better facilities and a better work environment. There's a number of fake reviews online from existing staff, so be cautious about this job..because you'll notice a lot of jobs going at this place throughout the year.

Pros

Large Company, Early access to MFC tickets (Useful in large cup matches to bigger clubs or play offs etc when there is a sell out) Not much else really

Cons

Manager of transport department at the time was not a nice guy, unsure if he still works there - Screams, shouts, swears and talks down upon all the staff below him I had worked in much more stressful offices before Bulkhaul but never experienced anything like that before. Ops Room is basically one big call centre, you are basically just working in a transport call centre.
