Great company but toxic corporate culture

Pros

• You’d be working on a great platform designed to help people and change lives. • Great collaborative environment between teams and team members. • Good pay • Ability to contribute to more aspects of the company than just your job title.

Cons

• Lack of diversity and lack of implicit bias awareness training • Upper Management condones toxic managerial tactics if it produces results • Hight turnover rate, only 1 in 5 new hires stay for more than a year. You either fit in or you leave, no process of employee integration into the company. • No real sense of job security • Upper Management strictly controls HR so employee complaints might be met with stern responses

RUN!!!

Pros

There are some hardworking people there with great intentions

Cons

For a well-being company, they do everything but promote wellbeing of their employees. Leadership is complacent, lacks vision and execution, new sales manager has no industry knowledge, lacks the skill sets needed to lead a team (downright toxic) and marketing doesn’t have the bandwidth, proper tools and support to executive. There is no GTM strategy whatsoever and instead of taking ownership and accountability, they are blaming it on sales.

Big Old Bag of Nope.

Pros

There are a lot of big windows letting in really nice natural light.

Cons

There is a strong sense of “My way or the highway”. The CEO’s like to say they want diversity and a mix of opinions. But at the end of the day they only approve their own ideas. It’s like giving a professor his/her own ideas reworded in an essay to get a good grade.
