- Super high turnover rate: I have worked for about 2 years, but I witnessed about a turnover rate of more than 35%, but there were only about 50 staff.
- After the retirement of the CEO, a new CEO was hired. However, she was like knowing nothing about environment and sustainability and it seems that she knew little about the etiquette of being a senior executive in a NGO focusing on environmental protection. She wore jeans in important meetings, carried very luxury brands (not environmental friendly), always using take-away paper cups for coffee (she should bring her own mug to buy coffee!): I heard many people from other environmental NGOs say that she did not concern about the environment, how could she lead the teams to do well?
- I know many colleagues left because they think the CEO didnt know how to manage the team heads, making small potatoes like me very frustrated because of the messy instruction from our team heads. The new CEO totally ignored the needs of the staff!
- Some team heads thought they were the head of everybody and likes to order staff of other teams to work for them.
