      Some great people, but nepotism and "jobs for the boys" out of control

      Pros

      Great gym, empowering culture, fantastic group of people, good salary levels. It's great to work for the benefit of growers - you feel like you have a purpose.

      Cons

      Promotion is based on who you know, who you married, who were your parents, rather than true meritocracy. Some truly terrifying and cruel individuals in positions of power.

      Too many cons - time to move on.

      Pros

      None - other than cafeteria but they are now making them redundant. There were some good people and now are slowly resigning due to massive cost-cutting

      Cons

      Too many to count but top few are: 1. Top heavy management - easy to see if you are in linkedin and can map how many managers there are. 2. Company restructures every 3 years; yet asks for engagement scores to be up. This does not make sense as after Year 1 restructure; Year 2 get engagement scores; and year 3, restructure again. Rinse and Repeat 3. Too many contractors - development opportunities are almost non-existent and hence paying top dollar for contractors, of which some are like $2000 per day, an equivalent of $500K per year (on 250 work days). Some contractors have been there for years!! 4. Incentives are not aligned to staff - it's management vs staff. Management gets bonuses based on how much is cut. This isn't strictly limited to the top. Doing a news search will show.

      A good company to work for.

      Pros

      The pay is fair for the workload. Office right next to City West train station. Free on-site gym. Cafeteria with great food and prices. Coffee shop. Good staff support it's like working for the government. Social club bar on site after work on Friday. Well resourced workplace. You won't lack the necessary tools to get the job done. If you don't get the job done it won't matter anyway as there's no accountability. That's 'pro' if you're a slacker and a 'con' if you're diligent.

      Cons

      Too much red tape. To much dead wood employees undealt with. Management don't manage and make decisions rather pretend all is fine until good people leave and the problem staff remain.
