There are mostly good people working there but there are a few bad apples who are likely to be there for life.

Reviews on here under ‘CCL Forensics’ also, so dont be fooled by the positive review below which has obviously been written by a senior manager) - Only care about timesheets and productivity, not about the quality of the work. - Constant bombarding from team leaders regarding completing timesheets which is more important to them then analysts doing good quality casework. - Workplace bullying in the mobile lab and when senior management is approached, nothing is done. The punishment for these people is promotion and a pay rise!! -Crap pay and to get a pay rise you have to provide evidence of the work you have done to get it (even though they can see all this information on their neverending spreadsheets) -Only a handful of experienced staff left, and the ones that remain hate it there and are looking for new opportunities. - They plan to recruit a load of Junior analysts even though the few analysts left are fighting for casework most of the time. They have been trying to recruit people for over a year for the labs and hardly had anyone through the door. No surprise when they pay a junior analyst £18,000 a year and get them to sign a contract saying if they leave in 2 years they have to pay back £2,000 for the ‘bootcamp’ (dont do it you WILL want to leave before the 2 years) -The ‘bootcamp’ is not worth £2,000. They have split the departments so you are only trained to do half the job making it difficult to apply for jobs with Police or competitors. - Most of what you see on a daily basis, you dont even know about when you have been through the bootcamp. You then get slated by more senior people because you dont know what you are doing. - Claim to be bothered about peoples mental wellbeing, yet when someone is off work they pay them only Statutory Sick Pay and they dont even get any sort of return to work interview. -When you leave, they will take money from your salary with less than 24hrs notice if you owe any training fees. - If you want to keep your sanity, this is not the place for you
