Pros

Great company culture - no 'dog eat dog' environment. When you're first on boarded, you receive training at the national headquarters and during your tenure, you have a national network that you can call and lean on for advice and support. Everyone is supportive, cheers each other on and congratulates each other's accomplishments. In the LA office the Managing Director, Derrick Coleman, is a pleasure to work with. He brings high energy and a level of excitement to the office.

Cons

Recruiting is a tough job no matter what company you're with. It's sales so you have to get comfortable with rejection. CFS is a more boutique firm so the pipeline isn't super large compared to other agencies, but we build real relationships with our clients and work with quality companies for fill really great opportunities.

Pros

Nice coworkers Decent pay Good benefits You get a laptop

Cons

Long hours Very little support Minimal Training Working off the clock and on weekends I came in as a brand new recruiter with a sales background. When I interviewed with them they told me that I would receive continuous training and they will not give up on me until I fully grasp the job. They kept telling me that this would be a marriage and not a date because they truly care about each person they bring on to the team. I struggled in the position and while they tried to help me with scripts and suggested methods, I never really felt like I had a chance to learn how to properly do the job. After a few weeks I could see the team slowly giving up on me and I felt isolated at my desk. With less than 30 days on the job I was released without warning. If you are interested in recruiting and would like to try out the industry I would not recommend working for this company as your first. If you don't get it quickly you will be let go at the drop of a dime.

Pros

Nothing worth mentioning just avoid this place.

Cons

Everything, the reviews of the company are fake, the ads are fake, and they give recruiters and staffing managers and recruiters director like titles, but are not it is really smoke and mirrors. Your going to work a lot of hours filling crappy positions. Making calls to make calls, like 200 a day just to look productive.

Thanks for the review. You mention that you are a current recruiter in Chicago. I would be happy to discuss these issues with you. CFS has very few employees working more than 40 hours per week. Anyone that works more than 40 hours does it on their own. We have never in the history of our company have anyone make anywhere close to 200 dials in a day. This business does dictate that we have phone or in person contact with clients and candidates. As a recruiter, you would have been told that we expect you to interview 8 people per week and make 30 dials to company contacts. That is far different than 200 per day. Lastly, our company turnover rate is below 30% in an industry that is usually over 100%. We are pretty proud of this. If you are currently employed by my company and you want to discuss this, you know how to get in contact with me.
