Pros

Work with creative people in a true startup culture.

Cons

Toxic management promotes a culture that rewards nonstop working and discourages breaks and paid time off. Be prepared for 60+ hour workweeks and to always feel "at capacity." Employee health and wellness is at the bottom of management's priorities and it shows. There are little to no opportunities for salary advancements or promotions, and you'll have to strongly advocate for yourself if you need help with an overwhelming workload or want a raise. I would not recommend this company to anyone, even if you do want to pursue a career in arts education.

Pros

Medical Benefits, Co-workers, Company Mission, company issued devices. Small Employee gifts, company outings.

Cons

Required to work long hours(50+ hours/week) with no overtime pay. There has been layoffs and senior leadership was not transparent with the company on these layoffs. No path for career development. Before covid, was told to come into the office even if you’re sick. No sick leave.

Pros

Great benefits, paid holidays, company issued devises, access to all the online classes, passionate team-members. Management’s door is always open for feedback/questions. Hands-off management style. Great if you’re an independent worker. Small company gifts and fun team outings. Cannot emphasize enough how great the team is.

Cons

Below industry standard pay. 50-60 hr/week—mandatory. Was told by CEO to find another place to work if not willing to fulfill this requirement. Work loads are intense. Took a toll on my physical and mental health. Manipulative work incentives and almost no career building opportunities. Lots of empty promises of learning new skills, leveling up, and having a long career at the company. This is how they suck you in—classic start-up style. They get employees to consistently work 50-60 hrs/week based on these promises, then never deliver. Then they use plausible deniability to cover themselves. A truly defeating experience.
