These tutor centres are run very poorly . Content being taught is out of date by 20 years , content does not match up to the department of education . Many resources and content being taught is very old and not relevant to what is being taught in schools . The centres have up to 30 children put in makeshift rooms with no windows or ventilation , carpet filthy . Does not allowed for differentiation for students . Children behaviour is out of control . Owners not teachers . Often so called tutors are not qualified or just high school students . Poor English of the owners . If you are not Asian do not bother . No facilities for staff - kitchen , bathroom etc. Owners have family members that are not teachers tutoring.If a tutor is highly qualified their knowledge and experience is dismissed . These centres are there to make money only . No follow up to parents .No breaks for tutors .Will take any student with learning difficulties however the needs are not catered to . No modern teaching resources . I could go on .....
