Very High Turnover for a Reason

Pros

Compensation is decent. You will not get fired basically no matter what you do. You will get promoted if you are here long enough regardless of your work output. Most of the employees are kind and fun people.

Cons

Nobody is fired, so there are very bad employees that stink up the water, and a lot of the upper management is just people that have been with the company for a very long time. Three is no focus on talent retention. There is no ability to climb ranks fast based on the work output.

Pros

Management and teammates are very knowledgeable and willing to help. Great per diem pay for field employees and reimbursement policy. Health benefits are better than the industry standard.

Cons

Had to find and create professional development opportunities for myself. Company is growing very fast, leading to overworking current employees and not properly training new employees. Expected to work at least 50 hours a week, I was corrected to put 10hrs/day on my timesheet. No overtime pay. 8 holidays, 10 days paid vacation to start. All field engineers are paid $58,000 at beginning of career here, there is no opportunity to negotiate.

Not a Great Experience

Pros

Great project teamwork and support at the project level. The crews are great to work with. Great benefits because of the work life balance.

Cons

Very poor support from upper management. Every company process has an additional process along with it. Paperwork for every single detail, including tracking the paperwork. No management software so everything is done a snails pace and extra work is required for no reason. Half of your day is spent filling out forms and you fall behind on the actual work ahead of you. Work 12 hour days and if you're lucky it is not every weekend. Safety team is just an audit team, they don't provide support for the actual operations side. They just write you up and leave.
