Good benefits, great docs, helping those in need and you learn A LOT!

Cons

Dealing with constant turnover and taking on jobs that are out of your job description (including those that are the sole responsibility of someone else) for no additional benefit to you. This includes those positions that pay more (not excluding your superiors job). Seems that only some people are expected to do their jobs well—if you do, then you also get to do the jobs of those who get to slack off.
