Firstly this is a subpar club, don’t let anyone tell you different. A very toxic workplace. You are told not to talk to other staff, so you're basically a robot. It’s not a cheerful workplace, you’ll be miserable all the time. Staff are given more and more duties to complete to a point where you ask yourself is it worth it anymore. Constantly understaffed, puts more pressure on you to catch up on your work. The management can't get a hold of anyone to come in to cover a shift because no one wants to work. Don’t be surprised if your shifts are constantly changed because they don’t have enough staff trained. There is absolutely no work/life balance. You are basically a slave because you agreed to be available 24/7 and they will use that on you. There is illegal camera surveillance on staff. No flexibility in the roster, parents with school children and Uni students beware! There is no Christmas party for ALL staff. The club's employee turnover is so high it’s unbelievable. Don’t ever think you're valuable there, you're easily replaceable. You make 1 complaint then you are on all managements radar to get rid of you. There is absolutely NO progression in club. The most you'll be trained on is poker machines. Bar training and up you'll have to join the exclusive Certificate 3 group where you will be given TAB, Bar and maybe reception training. Most clubs will train you after your probation period in various areas of the club. I can go on and on but simply read the other reviews.
