Poor Upper Management (HQ)
Shortcuts on facility safety to keep TRI (Total Recordable Incident) rates low to maintain customers.
Hostile/Violent Work Environments
Human Resources is a joke this is the same guy thats been there since WoodGroup days - If you develop a HR problem or issue (hostility, abuse etc) there you either better be related to someone or be prepared to swallow your pride and not report it.
Some of the worst managers in Wellhead that lack actual management skills, fire and replace rather than train and identify problems as to what went wrong.
Safety is a joke...I've witnessed employees of the years employed be FIRED for reporting a near miss.
Employee appreciation is non existent, year end bonus / Christmas bonus are lacking to the competition
The biggest con was the 2015-2016 management hires from poor competitors that brought on a slew of unprofessional employees basically "has-beens" from the wellhead industry and that spread all through out different facilities including Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma.
This group brought in poor work ethics, hostility and a lack of integrity to the operations. Some of these individuals held key roles branch managers, regional manager and service managers.
Existing employee work ethics suffered due to these managers disregarding long term hard-working employees and hired outside friends and families into other key roles and somehow managed to talk the Benders into making up new roles or adding additional managers thus creating a hostile work environment that led to one of these "has-been" manager's attempting to fight an employee in the parking lot, an uprise in near misses and poor safety standards because the tone from these new managers were to fire which created employees to not report safety incidents or accidents.
Lastly, if you want to make money and have job security at Cactus Wellhead go to a competitor as outside sales develop clients and then bring that to the table to the Benders that is your golden-chariot they will oblige on salary, position title and even cut or move around loyal employees to negotiate.
