Pros

Talented and motivated group of people who are happy to help wherever possible. great extra curricular activities and organisation. casual dress code and snacks provided. Perfect for civil engineers looking to work in high tech but poor for other kinds of engineering.

Cons

Turnover rate is high on the construction modelling team due to the extremely repetitive work. Expect alot of waiting and alot of podcasts if working as an AEC specialist. It is expected that you work more than 40 hours a week or you are likely to be laid off. There is no compensation for overtime. This is company policy. Many projects require overtime to meet client deadlines. Raises and promotional opportunities are promised but few and far between. They promise to teach and improve your skills in CATIA but the skills and knowledge you learn are very specific to the construction industry so be sure that construction is the industry you want to work in when applying. The CEO initially comes off as being charismatic, motivational and is looking out for your best interests but overtime it is clear that he manipulates you to do what is best for the company which is precisely what CEO should do and you should be aware of that when dealing with him. Christmas bonuses do exist but there is no transparency about how they are given out.

Pros

They have a new office with actual windows which is a big change from the windowless basement. Work 1-2 years at cadmakers, learn EKL, spend time outside of working hours learning automotive elements of CATIA and then you can go get a nice virtual engineer position at companies like Rivian, Tesla or Nikola aswell as major automotive and aerospace companies. its a good starter company for people who want to learn CATIA or EKL but its important to be aware that the company wont help you learn anything outside the companies direct requirements so you will have to teach yourself.

Cons

You will never hear that you did a 'good job', praise or credit doesn't exist. Overtime is expected and not rewarded, not even a thanks for the effort. This is a company that micromanages. Remember while looking at glassdoor reviews that all those 5 star's are written by the CEO and HR team and for any prospective HR person, management fired the entire HR team at the start of the pandemic and kept only the accountants.

Pros

Office provides coffee, toast and peanut butter, fruit, and no dress code. Also they do after work activities that anyone can join. Rooftop balcony.

Cons

Job is boring and they track every single thing you do on your computer. They want you to work a full 8 hours and any minutes you spend talking to a co-worker about a non-work thing, or cooking your food, or thinking about something you need to do after work don't count. So if you want to do any of these things you better be there for 10 hours. Never any parking spaces left because they have about four spots for a hundred people. Bathrooms are usually full so it's hard to get in there.
