Pros
Fairly easy place to work. The plant is clean for the most part. The majority of the workers are friendly.
Cons
Not sure where to start on this since there are many. In a nut shell this place is only concerned with making money and they don't care about you, I'm not joking here. They hold mandatory meetings to tell you about how much money the company made and for the awards/money they won for it...good job!...here's a jacket...or cuff links...really?!? How many people work here that where cuff links? Most workers don't bother working hard because there's no incentive for it. You will make the same as the person that's worked there for five or ten years. You will not get a bonus because the ceo doesn't believe in them but has a personal parking spot for his corvette...and if you park in his spot that is not clearly labeled he will fire you on the spot. Had a whole year without having a loss time accident, if you don't know this is extremely rare and a huge accomplishment for a food processing plant...good job!!!...here's a key chain...I kid you not. Had a meeting about Unions a couple of times and they compared them to slavery and said if they ever caught wind of one they would just shut the place down. I wish I was making this up but I've worked there for over five years and the list goes on and on...shows no sign of improving anytime soon...it wasn't always like this and I feel sorry for the people stuck there.
