      Pros

      The families, great community. The coworkers, *most* are incredible people who are hard working and care for the students.

      Cons

      - administration clearly plays favorites and treats those who are not favored poorly (examples: eye-rolling, intimidation tactics, condescension) -teachers are required to teach a full day of instruction, along with being early to monitor breakfast in the classroom (horrible for habit building), teach a club once a week, and tutor 3 days a week without added breaks or compensation. -school leaders gossip about private meetings -unfair evaluations, some of us did not receive them consistently. - lies about pay scale and its availability

      Pros

      Parent involvement is better than other schools in the area.

      Cons

      School is unorganized. Staff is too young and inexperienced to have a smooth running school. They can't find good teachers that have much experience (they won't apply), so they use aides with no credentials and little college to teach a class. Discipline is based on background, so some kids are punished more severely than others for same offense. As a result of all of this, turn over rate is beyond ridiculous.

      The kids and families are amazing!

      Cons

      -Everything else about this school. -disproportionate discipline of African American boys (they are aware and choose to not do anything about it) - they’re shady - they hire criminals (look up their 5th grade teachers)
