- no mobility in most departments. If you want to stay longer, it’ll most likely be a horizontal job.
- social cliques at work that are unprofessional at times (based on observation; borderline bullying based on the stories mentioned by current and former colleagues. HR has not address this issue during my time there and it may still persist if you plan to join certain departments.
- at the end of the day, it’s a job. Don’t get too sucked in to the promise of amazing success or experience during interviews or when networking (emphasis on hiring outside for mid/senior/higher responsibility jobs, not internal. This is the opposite of what was pitched to me during interviews)
- you really have to go above and beyond if you want to find a good promotion (have to do things that will benefit the company outside work hours)
