Pros

There are no Pros for this company.

Cons

Does NOT appreciate what the workers do for them. The DM is very unorganized and does not think before addressing situations. Is overall a horrible environment to be working in. The company overall should treat people with respect and not expect them to do things they do not get paid enough to do!

Pros

Pretty good discount (30%) but could be stacked depending on if you were chill with the coworker checking you out Had some fairly good coworkers, still friends with a few of them even after quitting No cameras (in my store) so my coworkers and I could chat a bit

Cons

God, where do I begin? Management is an absolute joke. I had just started and worked for about two months before my entire team quit, leaving myself and one other person there. You’d think upper management would be scrambling to find replacements. Nope. Barely hired anyone and then wondered why people kept stealing from us. Maybe schedule more than one person for a large store? Sorry I can’t be defending your overpriced basics t-shirts while also checking out a customer. They’d make us do these inventory checks for huge amounts of clothing except not schedule enough people to get it done on time. I once closed the store at our usual 6pm Sunday time but didn’t get out until 9pm because I had no one to help me. The next day I got chewed out for staying too late but I defended myself saying it was ridiculous to expect me to be able to complete the whole check if the only other coworker that worked that day came in an hour after opening and left an hour before close. They never put me on an inventory day again. My particular store actually went without management for most of the time I worked there. I think we had an actual manager for about three months before he (rightfully) quit. In it’s place they shoved one of the managers from another store that was miles away. He was alright but pretty out of touch considering he was rarely actually in the store. It was super frustrating trying to play phone tag with him. Meanwhile, I had a coworker that seemed to have decided that she was suddenly acting manager, despite clearly not being able to manage anyone. There was always conflicts of interest between what was actually happening in the store and what he was saying. Super annoying. I worked there for just shy of two years and never received any sort of raise or appreciation. Even a “Hey, great work!” would’ve been fine. Never got anything of the sort.
