Zero pay

Pros

Great team environment. People you work with are great! And you meet a lot of people because there is a huge turnover rate.

Cons

ZERO PAY. DECEIVING JOB TITLE AND DUTIES. Don’t be fooled this is a door to door sales position with ZERO base pay! You work m-Sunday, and make literally nothing, no paid training! They want you to hang out with your “team” nearly every evening. A typical day is 930-830pm.

Reviewer, Direct marketing, to quote, "is the business of selling products or services directly to the public rather than through retailers." We find it difficult to process your review when there seems to be a massive disconnect between the job we interviewed you for and the one you believe you should have held. You were not offered a base pay, as that is not an option with our entry level sales position, and we also don't work Sundays. While we encourage team building and camaraderie through social events, it is not mandatory. Best of luck to you in your future endeavors. Sincerely, Cape Reserve Management Team

Pros

A lively office of employees with group nights every week for team building.

Cons

A commission only experience with no benefits, mileage reimbursement (you drive, a lot) 6 day work week M-S between the hours 10-8pm (you don't leave the field until 8pm and then go back to the office).

Reviewer, We're troubled to see your review, as we hope that anyone that parts ways with our company does so on a mutually positive note. We are glad to know that you enjoyed your coworkers and the team building events we coordinate weekly. Commission pay is not shady and is in fact how several professions make a living. We are proud to know that our team members are uncapped and able to dictate how much they make weekly. Whether it be preference or performance, commission is not a great fit for everyone. If you have any ongoing questions or sentiments, we welcome you to call our office and ask for Justin. We wish you great success in your future endeavors. Best of luck!

Legal sales scheme

Recommend

Business outlook

Pros

The pay is merit-based, so if you're a good salesperson you may be able to make some decent money.

Cons

Don't be fooled by the company or the other reviewers here, this is a door-to-door sales scheme. The management continually tries to "sell you" on the position, with far-fetched incentives like "becoming CEO of your own branch." This is nothing more than a sales tactic to keep as many bodies going door-to-door as possible (and almost everyone gets hired). Perhaps one out of every 200 employees has a realistic shot at managing your own branch, but the term CEO is used very loosely, as these CEOs claim to be at the helm of the company, and yet they seem to be part of a nationwide network of similar companies who answer to a parent company that provides them with sales leads. Also the morning meetings are extremely unprofessional (blaring hip-hop, managers chewing tobacco, chanting/call and response pump-up tactics). Also you're expected to work 6 days a week.

Hey, reviewer! We appreciate that you understand that it is merit- based, but are confused that you then coin it to be legal sales scheme. I'm certain you know that we wouldn't be associated with AT&T if we acted in anything less than a manner worthy of Fortune 100 company. Since the premise of the position is Management Training, we don't want a sales individual, but more so an entrepreneur. Maybe hip hop music isn't your cup of tea, but being loud and proud of our employees and giving recognition where recognition is deserved - isn't that what everybody wishes for of their employer? This is a career open to everyone and anyone, and we apologize that it wasn't the best fit professionally for you! If you have any further questions, comments or concerns, we welcome you to contact our HR department. Good luck with your future endeavors!
