All about bragging , technology is not working

- Average salary - Located in Squamish

Cons

- Evidently, CE's Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology has not worked/proved even in a lab scale, neither has in a pilot scale. Surprisingly, they've built a demonstration plant, also are going to build a commercial plant in Texas! - Sycophantic culture and bragging about "saving planet" while the DAC process has failed repeatedly. - Young managers with limited experiences and no expertise. - Mangers with totally irrelevant background (in one case a military-based engineer is director of a department).

Great Coworkers to work with. Sadly no one stays long enough due to management and compensation.

Cons

Poor management planning. Company tries to get every hour out of you without paying when they can. You are a "HighTech" employee with no applicable labour laws. Time for vacation is controlled and only allowed in December for less than 3 weeks.

Not very organized in engineering, and operation disciplines, not many people with related knowledge and experience who are in charges and leading....not much learning opportunity for those experienced and senior engineers.
