      Management is really great. They treat their employees with respect and understanding.

      Pros

      Friendly environment. Decent pay. They have a great safety program that compensates you with food vouchers to spend in the store on groceries, just for staying safe. That was pretty great. Management is very patient while you learn the system. They don't breathe down your backs, I think they figure customers do enough of that.

      Cons

      Room for growth isn't too big. It doesn't seem like they promote based on performance or seniority for that matter, and that was a really big problem for me. I'd like to be in an environment where people advance up the ladder based on their skills, performance, and the desire to work.

      Accountant - Barely enough free time to sleep

      Pros

      - The accounting team at Cardenas is very friendly - They often give out small items as raffles to employees - Food discount after the workday - Accounting management works as hard as they ask staff to work

      Cons

      - Accounting team is often expected to work until 9-10pm during close week - Frequent last-minute projects during non-close weeks - Desk time is important to management, even during down weeks with less to do. If you are not at your desk appearing to work for 10+ hours per day, you will hear about it from a supervisor.

      Full time employees-health benefits, medical, dental, vision. 401K plan. Job security.

      Cons

      -Low pay, (underpaid) too much work to complete within 8 hour shift. Zero tolerance to go over your 40 hours work week schedule. Overwhelmed, overworked, and no assistance provided for the most part.
