Let’s be clear: First thing I want to say is that anyone who writes an honest or negative review of this company is not always a disgruntled employee. Just because you write a review or speak negatively after you leave does not make you a coward. These reviews often come from those who have shared their concerns to leadership but were seen as a “drainer”. There are people who are afraid of facing consequences for going to HR, so it makes sense that people speak honestly only after leaving. There are people who have posted honest reviews only to be silenced once again. Think of this, the honest yet “negative” reviews are also the ones deemed the most helpful… One of the core values of this company is “transparency” but employees have to be transparent as long as they are speaking positively. People spoke honestly on Glassdoor and then are being seen as cowards, yet you can see multiple positive reviews have been recently posted by current employees after the negative ones have come to light. There are also several positive reviews that were written after they told us to. If you value work life balance, this may not be the place for you. People work 12-14 hour days and work on most weekends- that also includes those who have to travel back and forth to different states. If you have children, family, or any other priorities in your life- this job will completely take over it. They want your full commitment and loyalty leaving you with the feeling of no support. Even if you’re on PTO or if you even want to take a lunch break- they pay attention to this and value those who rarely take time off or any breaks instead because they’re viewed as being “10X”. If you’re overworked- you’re a high achiever. I’ve seen team members breakdown in tears if they had a sick child or a family emergency because they were afraid to tell the leaders it meant they’d have to leave an event to go home. If you have boundaries, they don’t see you as working hard enough. It’s no secret that this company lacks diversity and cultural awareness. If you speak up about being offended by something, you’re seen as someone with an attitude, or you’re not adaptable or it just gets swept under the rug. If you don’t fit the mold of what is considered “popular” at the company, good luck being considered for a promotion or you’ll probably be told that you’re not doing enough. Micromanaging is a problem. If you change something on your LinkedIn or indeed, they’ll probably reach out to you to see if you’re applying to other jobs. They make you take personality tests so we can all learn how to work together except it’s not really respected. Leaders can bully people or speak disrespectfully then blame it on their personality result. You will learn a lot at this company but at the end of the day, remember that they’ll have no problem replacing you. So, please remember to protect your peace and mental health at all costs. Flourish and prosper my friends.
