Pros

The only positive memories I carry from my experience here was travelling to remote parts of the UK and getting to see places outside of London. That's about it.

Cons

It's been a few years now since I worked at Cardonet and I still have nightmares about it. The work was gruelling, working long hours for little pay and even less appreciation. We were disgustingly understaffed and management didn't seem to view that as a problem - at the time there were only 4 people on the field team managing dozens of sites. The clients treated us like crap because they hated Cardonet as an MSP, and we just had to deal with their abuse. Sites are poorly documented and knowledge is rarely shared. It felt like we were always expected to sell some solution or additional service instead of cracking on with our jobs. Turnover was extremely high and HR was terrible. In addition to the trash pay, field team members were forced to provide their own tools and equipment and pay for their own travel. I once had a site in Leeds come up quickly and the ticket cost £200 - it took HR two months to reimburse me. But the worst bit was the on-call. Cardonet sells itself as a 24x7 service provider, but that 24x7 just means "one guy with a cell phone." Your phone could ring at 3am and you are expected to answer it and resolve the issue with a smile, and they record the calls. I was fielding 50+ calls in my off time and on weekends. This is the part that led me to panic attacks and leaving shortly afterwards, and why it's 2am on a random Saturday two years later and I can't sleep.

Pros

Multicultural environment. They generally pay company related expenses(at least half of them).

Cons

Their relationship with employees is very weak. There's an atmosphere of constant pressure and fear. There is no knowledge sharing between people. Technical documents on the intranet are generally out of date. All of the activities (like Friday beer etc.) that they perform for the staff are simple and for showing off on social media. It is managed by people who do not understand the technology and corporate management. They generally offer old devices as new devices for most of the companies(like hotels) they work with. PS: Company manager's name is not the same as above(Itay Meiri). The real manager name is Sagi Dori Saltoun.
