Pros

Excellent benefits package with 100% employer paid medical, dental and vision for employee. decent salary. Company is fantastic with social and charitable giving. Allows employees to take 1 day paid time per month for volunteer work. The few good qualities are offset by other negative aspects of the company.

Cons

There is always a down side to every organization however, typically you see progressive change for the better over time and with the company it is only getting worse. The organization have a lot of great employees but the information is in the heads of few. Which doesn't allow for collective information sharing. With a team that has so much knowledge the leadership is not taping into the talent they have onboard. The company culture is all about "who you know", not what you know. Its almost sad to say this happens almost everywhere but to have blatant favoritism is shameful. The turnover rate is extremely high and turing a blind eye to why the turn over rate is high is setting the organization up for failure. There are many currently looking to leave the company because of the lack of communication, leadership and discriminatory practices. Im sure someone from HR will respond to this post and say "they take discrimination seriously" however, its all to counter the feedback given. Management doesn't listen. Unskilled people are running the organization. This is a weird situation where several - not unintelligent, by any means, but without the skills, expertise, or years of experience warranted, has been elevated to the position of VP. This is not THE problem, it is an example of the values the company has and the amount of thought given to the morale of its employees by the Sr. leadership team. You will see a lot of great reviews on Glassdoor related to the company, however they are done by people in HR or those who were recently hired by leadership because of their past relationship with the person.

Pros

Trying to make the company viable again. Some hard-working and dedicated staff. Good work-life balance.

Cons

Most of these positive reviews are old and pre-date all the trouble that has occurred. Morale is very low and the company is not the great place to work what it once was. More than 20% of employees have left since Jan due to financial and other trouble. Leaders are reacting in a panic mode by promoting and giving raises to some long-term staff that are undeserved only to keep them from leaving. So, now you have completely unqualified managers while the rest of the staff has lost all faith in execs. Almost the entire exec team is new and are former colleagues of the CEO but don't have the experience to lead an organization. Trouble is they don't understand the business and treat other staff as if they are incompetent. New sales team has been completely ineffective. Most people wonder what the new managers and execs actually do.
