It’s unfortunate that after multiple years of steady, reliable performance you experienced a change in your perception of the interaction of managers and executive management policy positions. We have applied a great deal of resources (including legal) to ensure that all of our policies put in place years ago, show we take employee needs seriously, while ensuring continuity in company responsibilities. If any policy was not consistent, it was always at the discretion of executive management and always to the benefit of the employee. That is the value of working for a small business. Promotions are not, in fact, based on tenure.
