Very inexperienced people in leadership roles who do not know how to run a product-led business:
- "Sweatshop" approach to engineering teams, no vision or support from VP of Engineering to plan for longer-term scale. Burnt-out teams, horrible dev tools, very poorly engineered solution that blows out feature delivery time.
- Constant shift in priorities, leaving teams unprepared for delivering quality results.
- "High-performance" culture with teams being judged by the number of features they ship. Teams and individuals get blamed directly in a very toxic way if they don't deliver on time.
- The problems get hidden under the rug and not communicated to the CEO.
