The position is salaried and when you look at how much you are actually making in a year and how much you are working per week, you are actually paid less than minimum wage per hour. Also, it's a year long in school position, meaning that you do work during the summers at the school.

Unequal pay for same role, told not to discuss pay as it's "a trade secret" which is a red flag, information was disseminated inconsistently and supervision seemed like a gotcha game based on gossip and opinion versus accomplishments and skill.
