Pros

-Helped me receive my RBT certification - Which any company will do! -The Mid Level/Clinical Manager Support was stellar - They are young and helpful and relatable -Benefits w/ 30 Hours/Week - If you can maintain those hours w/ broken promises for more clients and cancellations -Mileage to and from Clients ONLY

Cons

-There is only one meeting with your team a month, and the meetings are not utilized well, there is no space for RBTs to talk amongst themselves and sort of de-stress, you are on your own the rest of the month, I felt very alone and secluded, they almost make it Taboo to openly talk about clients and feelings. -My BCBA Lynn was completely unprofessional and played “favorites” with her RBTs, less supportive than my CM, could not call and ask for help or advice, she would say let’s talk about it when she sees me, but then she saved up my required supervision hours for the end of the month instead of once a week, so I rarely saw her. -Behavior plans were not as clear-cut as I liked, I had the same questions about the way some were written and could not get a straight answer on how to run them by my BCBA and then she would blame ME for incorrect data. - Clients constantly cancel as it is home based, they have no sub system to send you anywhere else if this happens or if your caseload drops suddenly -I signed up for benefits and as soon as I was able to, my hours dropped below full-time. -I had a situation where I felt sexually harassed by a parent, and so I was taken off the case, and then was not given hours to compensate or a new case to replace it, so I suffered for reporting the sexual harassment. -Never received my 90-day review, they completely forgot -Eventually I was advised by my BCBA to find a higher paying/full-time position as “CLASS could not provide me more hours at the time” and it was out of my BCBA’s hands apparently. So I took the advice. -I witnessed the mistreatment of a family by my BCBA Lynn, where some decisions that were made were not in the child’s best interest, she had the family go through a total of 4 therapists after taking me off and promising a new client closer to my house, which did not happen and I was just put back on with the family after everything.

Pattern of inefficiency (data doesn't lie)

Pros

Benefits are offered to full-time employees.

Cons

Data doesn't lie= retention rate is lower than the industry norm. This agency is a revolving door emplyees at all levels (BT's mid-lvl supervisors and director supervisors). No Clinical leadership from upper management, oversight or procedural consistency. Lacking in protocols and procedures leads to miscommunication and inefficient clinical and buisiness practices. Upper management focuses more on the bottom line and billable hours rather than clinical quality and client-centered care.

Pros

Helping to improve the kiddos well being. Rewarding to be involved in child’s growth.

Cons

Non-existent training. You’re literally on your own on what to do with the client. Gets very overwhelming when there’s no support. No matter how available you may be your requested more hours will be ignored. This is definitely a part position and clients often cancel last minute and agency does not compensate for lost time. One dollar raise after a year.
