Nobody has to work very hard Most people mean well but are stuck in silos The new Risk Guy seems competent (which will make him unique in ELT)

Cons

High politics and low competence in management is a bad combination Bet the farm on a product they can't sell Financial mismanagement leads to all-time low results and layoffs

35hr work week, onsite gym, friendly coworkers, on site cafeteria, RRSP plan

Cons

very little career growth lots of lay offs have happened and will continue to happen. many good employees have been laid off. there is a build up of work, and not enough people to do it all. low job security very low pay compared to what other tech employers offer Central1 tells their employees they pay 50 percentile, but I don't believe that is the case. very skewed and unfair yearly bonus review. Executives get awarded somehow for terrible performance.

Close to Granville island- lot of food options, 35 hours a week. Employees are nice HR is approachable

Cons

Very political and personal. One manager even got his friends and girlfriend to join his team- something which is unusual in professional environments. Lack of direction Weak management
