Pros

The consumers. Getting to help them and be a part of their lives.

Cons

The way this company is being run is horrible. Upper management does not care about anyone udder them. They pay little and keep lowering the mileage. If something happens your supervisor will blame you and write you up. I have since a lot of people be treated unfair and written up for something the could not prevent. for example a staff was driving their car and a consumer had a behavior hit the driver and caused an accident. The supervisor/ upper management wrote the staff up and did not help pay for repair cost. Since they hired their new program direct who does not know who to run a day program and consistently had to ask for help on how to do things from staff. Their new rule where to let the consumers do what they want and when something bad happens you will get the blame. I do not recommend anyone to send their kid/ consumer here they only want your money and will take anyone that has a abusive/ sexual abuse history.

Pros

CVTC has one of the best behavioral programs that I've seen in the Valley yet, Their behavioral program works and education for staff is ongoing.

Cons

Recently I have been looking to step up in the company, and there have been no such openings as the company is a small non-profit company. Not family oriented or education oriented. HR not friendly.

Pros

Good team members. Wild to calm days- the verity makes everyday a bit different. Stepping stone to other roles. Challenges you mentally, have to adapt or change things to suit the situation. Helping adults.

Cons

Pay is low. Management downplayed during onboarding how much butt you must wipe and how many times you are in the line of fire. Behaviours include being hit, bit, and spit etc. Resources are held in management office. Need to use own vehicle for transport.

Thank you for the 5-star review. At CVTC, we strive to provide quality service to the participants we serve, which includes assisting them with sensitive needs like hygiene and personal care while treating them with respect and dignity. It's unfortunate not everyone sees the value in providing this type of care.
