Pros

Exceptional, ground breaking technology. Lots of opportunities for creative thinking and flexible approaches. Visionary. Exceptional admin support from home office. Great pay.

Cons

Not a great place for women to work. A culture of shame and fear. Dog eat dog. Constantly changing priorities—sometimes daily. Everyone is siloed and there’s a gatekeeper for each one so you never really know what is happening. Five out of 100 people are the favorites (all male), everyone else is a failure in the CEOs eyes and she lets you know it. CEO is brilliant but micromanages everything, surveils her employees constantly and (inadvertently?) encourages dog fights between managers which is unproductive and unsettling. No room for dissent. My manager was mostly absent. Some pretty serious compliance concerns and what I perceived as sexist, anti-woman attitudes. Constant churn, especially at senior management level.

Pros

Incredible technology with little to no competition.

Cons

Possibly the worst culture I have ever been a part of. In the past 6 months they have hired two VPs of culture and let them go within weeks. Bully management and fear based leadership.

Pros

Groundbreaking technology. Peers are hard-working and collaborative. The flexibility of remote/in-person hybrid.

Cons

Leadership is out of touch ex-McKinsey consultants who micromanage and show no signs of changing despite entire teams of high-performing CAMs quitting and low team morale. There is no safe space to report bad managers without fear of retaliation. Our head of HR came in as VP of Reading Service and then took over People/Culture which I find suspicious. The Comp plan changed for the worse in a significant way.
