A lot of the staff were great, interesting clients

Cons

Management was awful and very uninvolved despite it being such a small company and office. Extremely long work days, unbalanced work load (some times I would have 1 client, other times I would have 5 or more projects at once), a lot of travel, below average pay. While I was there, there was extreme turnover and many employees were very unhappy. Some people move up the ranks quickly but most do not.

Founder is passionate, talented colleagues, a progressive firm doing innovative work, the top international fundraising firm, high level of collaboration with clients and internal teams

Cons

Benefits! (no 401k match, insurance coverage weakened, paid family leave is minimal), some senior managers are out of touch with sales expectations, work/life balanced is talked about but not a reality, being part of an umbrella company that mandates high revenue numbers can take the focus off of client work to selling

Flexible hours and a very independent work schedule. If you like to travel that can be a pro since you are likely to be assigned to a location that is not near your home.

Unsteady work based on contract assignments. If you don't like to travel that can be a con since you are likely to be assigned to a location that is not near your home.
