Pros

For a field manager, the hours were a bonus. I've never worked a field manager job were you were done by 6 pm and off on weekends. This was not a company culture but just normal hours of operations. The only caveat to that was being fully staffed (which 90% of the company is not so expect to turn keys in your stores weekly)

Cons

Where do I begin. I have never in my professional career had as much anxiety with a job than this one. I received DAILY emails of screenshots of my on camera and phone calls to my cell asking what I was doing as I was being watched on camera. The Regional does not visit markets, but watches you from the comfort of your home on security cameras. When you call your Regional, they do not answer and rarely ever return a call. You integrity will be questioned weekly. If a field manager is terminated (several are termed weekly) the company deems it appropriate to send a company wide email announcing this. whatever the reason they will publicly announce it. Extremely degrading and I'm surprised it does not get then into more trouble. For the 1st time in my professional career, i quit a jib before having another lined up. It was that important to my own personal integrity to move on that quickly.

Pros

Decent pay, Sundays off, casual dress code, office from home. Health insurance expensive, but actually decent. Plenty of work to keep you busy.

Cons

Where do I start? This job is a nightmare, high stress. There are no boundaries between work/home. You will constantly be looking behind your back and worrying about things beyond your control. One bad month and you will be writing up good employees. Two bad months and you better replace them. And, guess what? That's how your boss operates too. I hope you like fire drills, drop everything for someone else's poor planning (most likely your boss). Integrity? Yours will be questioned daily as your boss is telling you to do unethical things. I can promise you two things working here: you will work so many hours that the compensation actually sucks, and eventually you will be fired (unless you are smart enough to find a real job before that happens.) My last bit of as advice- if you are so desperate to take this job DO NOT put check n go on your resume, use parent company name. WAY less embarrassing. Haha cause You will need to update your resume after you start working here!

Pros

You Get paid but as far as bonuses,, No one could ever explain it...?

Cons

I really don't know where to start from to keep this from being too long. I have never seen a company who could care less about their employees than this one. As upper management you are expected to hire less than desirable employees for very little pay, work then like slaves and get them to be superstars. only 1 full time employee unless the store has an insane amount of accounts. The company culture as so bad that cringe every day I have to go to work. we have to write up good manager to keep them from getting their bonuses and fire the one that upper management don't like. As DDO's you be made out to look like the bad guy while the regional's smile in the employees faces then tell you to find a way fire them because of they way they look. Most of the Regional's have very little financial Expertise or college and come from places like block buster or a declining retail business. the only thing they can do is follow the their bosses lead as they cannot think for themselves. I do understand everyone needs a job but just make this a short stopping point and move on. this company does not make you proud to work for it. I will leave with one stat. They had 60% upper management turnover rate last year. I was in a meeting and The senior vice President said he fired a man because he thought he arrogant, and he said that with HR in the same room, but HR is also a joke.
