Pros

Great events around the city

Cons

They use the perks to justify low pay for newcomers. Remote bosses love to micro manage but lack technical competency. Leadership will foster relationships/talent with entry level employees to only externally hire candidates when positions open.

Successful DNC

Pros

Chicago excelled in successfully hosting the Democratic National Convention (August 2024).... when all eyes were on our city, all stakeholders banned together to make our city shine!

Cons

Local media can be very negative, but the DNC was a pretty good overall experience and protrayal of Chicago

Chair needs to be let go

Pros

Hard working team. Immensely important work produced by dedicated team.

Cons

The Chair is too involved in the day to day operation of the company. Too many executives — Lyn Osmond, David Whitaker, Mark Anderson, Julie Mullins, Dawn Young, Rita Chen and the list goes on - have left because of his ineptness. Time for a Change.
