Pros
Small company, lots of opportunity to learn about all aspects of the business if interested. Values employees happiness and tries to promote positive environment with potluck lunches and rewards programs, etc.
Cons
No training programs available, must be self-learner to advance. Owner not local, not involved in daily business but prefers to approve of projects before launching anything new. Limited resources, outdated machinery, minimal company growth. Not ideal for long-term career development or gaining experience to expand career opportunities. Low salary for what you're asked to do; promotes bare minimum work effort mentality.
