Pros

You can go far at ClarisHealth if: -You are lazy -You falsely accuse others to deflect attention from your failings -You never intend to learn anything that would help you do your job -Your answer to management is always a yes -You participate in mindless small talk with the CEO before a meeting or town hall begins with words that inflate his ego

Cons

Given what I have seen from people that have left ClarisHealth, you have a better than 60% chance of developing a serious stress related health issue if you work on the delivery side of this business for any length of time. I am not just relating to things like high blood pressure, but really major health issues. There should be a surgeon general's warning mandated on the job applications here, because working at ClarisHealth is far worse than tobacco use. If you are in technology, ClarisHealth is a miserable place to work. Take note that the positive reviews here are not from software developers that have been there for any significant length of time. Developers are universally treated like garbage, even though they are the best this company has to offer and the only teams that strive for improvement in process and skill. The company makes promises to their clients without consideration to the scope of those promises and the company's capacity to deliver on those promises when all other previous commitments are considered. Remember: -You will be asked to work ALL the time. -There will be no work life balance. -Everything will be your fault, even if all project delays were upstream of your work or the fault of the client. -You will be the one pressured to make up time, not the "teammates" that failed you with their laziness and ineptitude.

Loved it but has changed for the worse

Pros

Great Dev and QA team collaboration or it was until they rolled out the E2E process. Hours are flexible but you always end up working more than 40 hrs a week because of tight deadlines. Benefits are good.

Cons

Claris was great when I first started. Loved it but when they hired 2 new managers (MK and EB) all that changed. They rolled out their E2E process which has some serious issues. When this was pointed out to the CEO he acknowledged the issues it would cause but dismissed my concerns and went with it anyway. Issue was that it would slow down the development process and increase my workload and introduce bugs in the software. As we are always on an extremely tight schedule because our CEO makes promises to clients without understanding the scope of the work this was a disaster waiting to happen. I waited to write my review to see if my prediction came true and had it confirmed by colleagues who departed for similar reasons. Major delays in the release and lots of new bugs introduced. The stress caused my blood pressure to go sky high and it was literally killing me. Think 180 / 110 - Stroke level. Thank God I left and it lowered. Hr was not much help either. Saw colleagues who were reported to HR for “Non Compliance”. One manager in particular would use HR as a hammer to force compliance if anyone questioned their E2E process. Never have I worked at a company where HR was used in this manner. Until those managers are removed I would not recommend working here.

Pros

Depending upon your level, pay is OK. Benefits are OK. The product concept is great.

Cons

Culture is horrible. Their slogan is #GYB (Got Your Back). It should be #WYB (Watch Your Back). This is a 10 year old start up company that doesn't know how to grow up. Technically, the product is crap.
